💳 Payment Terms

Effective date: August 26, 2026

Payment is due the day after the auction ends (Tuesday).
By default, your selected payment method on file will be charged for the final invoice amount.
Receipts will be emailed after payment is processed.

Saved Payment Method and Future-Charge Authorization

A valid supported credit card or Visa/Mastercard debit card is required to create and maintain an online bidding account. Payment details are collected and stored securely by Stripe. L&R Online Auctions does not receive, store, or have access to the complete card number, security code, or complete payment credentials.

By checking the payment authorization box during account creation and adding a payment method, you authorize L&R Online Auctions and Stripe to save that payment method for future use. You authorize L&R Online Auctions to initiate charges without requiring you to re-enter the card for:

• The final amount of each auction invoice for your winning bids, including applicable buyer premiums, taxes, handling fees, and other disclosed auction charges
• Shipping, packing, handling, insurance, postage, courier, or similar delivery charges that you request or approve
• Any other amount you separately and clearly authorize

These charges may be initiated when you are not actively using the website. Stripe or your card issuer may occasionally require additional authentication. If a charge is declined or requires action, the invoice remains unpaid and you may receive a secure payment link or instructions to complete payment.

Card Processing Fees and Refunds

Card payments are subject to a separately disclosed processing fee intended to recover the payment-processing costs charged to L&R Online Auctions. The standard Stripe rate is 2.9% plus $0.30 for Canadian cards, with an additional 0.8% for international cards; other disclosed Stripe charges may apply when relevant. Processing fees are non-refundable. If L&R Online Auctions approves a refund, only the eligible underlying invoice, purchase, shipping, handling, or other principal amount will be refunded. The processing fee charged with the original payment will not be returned because the payment processor does not return that cost to L&R Online Auctions. The processing fee and total amount are disclosed before an online payment is submitted or included in an authorized saved-card charge.

Managing Saved Payment Methods

• You may keep a maximum of three active payment methods on file and must select one default payment method
• You are responsible for keeping the default payment method valid and current
• Changing or removing a payment method does not cancel an existing invoice or payment obligation
• Administrators can see payment status but cannot see your complete payment-card information

Alternate Payment Methods

E-transfer, debit, or cash must be requested:

• In the “Notes to Auctioneer” before registering
• Or by contacting us directly

If not arranged by 10:00 AM Tuesday, your card will be charged.

Non-Payment Policy

Failure to pay will result in:

• Account suspension
• Invoice sent to collections
• Recovery of commission and buyer’s fees

📍 Pickup Information

📍 Location:
4635 Queen St Unit D, Niagara Falls, ON
(Back of the building off St. Lawrence Ave & Park St.)

Pickup Days - 3 Day Window Only

• Thursday: 12 PM – 4 PM
• Friday: 12 PM – 4 PM
• Saturday: 12 PM – 3 PM

Customers who cannot attend the standard pickup window may request an alternate Thursday, Friday, or Saturday pickup date up to one month later. Alternate dates require advance approval.

Items Not Picked Up

• Standard items not collected within seven days after the Saturday 5 PM administrative deadline will be considered abandoned
• Items not collected by 5 PM Saturday of an approved alternate pickup week will be considered abandoned
• Abandoned items are no longer available for pickup, even if the invoice is later paid

Shipping is charged at cost.
